Admission

Eligibility:

Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science.

Procedure:

Admission to the B.Tech Programme would be done on the basis of rank obtained in AIEEE conducted by CBSE. Management seats are filled directly by the institute by conducting institute level counseling based on the 10+2 / AIEEE rank & merit in qualifying examination.

Direct Admission to Second Year B.TECH. (Lateral Entry)

For Diploma holders: Passed qualifying examination from an AICTE approved Institution with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).

For B.Sc. Graduates: Passed B.Sc. Degree from recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject. Provided that these students shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second year subjects.

Seats Distribution: General Seats 85% (50% Uttarakhand seats + 35% All India seats) Management Seats 15%

Scholarships by Uttar Pradesh/Bihar/Jharkhand Government

Various scholarships are granted by Uttar Pradesh/Bihar/Jharkhand Government to the students belonging to -

Reserved Category.
Economically weaker section students

Complete details about the scholarships by Government can be obtained from the admission office of the institute or Social Welfare officer of UP/Bihar/Jharkhand Government.

Scholarship based on class XIIth score

90% and above : 20% of full 4th year course fee.
80% to 89% : 15% of 4th year course fee
75% to 79% : 10% of 4th year course fee

Students are eligible to avail study loan from any of the Nationalized Banks.
